The RevOps Revolution

The rise of RevOps reminds me of the rise of DevOps in the early 2000s. There is a lot of parallel between the two, and here are some of my observations.
DevOps revolution was super empowering for then called the “system engineers” who used to be the second class citizen of the engineering organization. Similarly …the RevOps revolution will empower the “Sales Operations.”
The DevOps revolution, combined with the onset of the cloud, led to a major transformation in the cost and speed of software development projects. Similarly … the RevOps revolution, combined with the onset of SaaS and recurring revenue models, will see a major transformation in the Revenue generation speed and results.
